Adi Holzer (April 21, 1936, in Stockerau near Vienna in Lower Austria) is an Austrian visual artist, draftsman, painter, graphic artist (lithographer, etcher, screen printer), stained glass artist, and sculptor of bronze sculptures and glass sculptures. He alternates his work between his studios in Værløse, Denmark, and Winklern, Austria. In Austria, he is a member of the Carinthian Art Association. Adi Holzer was born on April 21, 1936, in the Lower Austrian town of Stockerau. His father, the merchant Otto Holzer, died in 1942 at the age of 33; Adi Holzer was six years old at the time. His mother, Anna Maria Holzer, married Leo Kantor, the estate manager for Count Wilczek, two years later. Adi Holzer's childhood was marked by the terrible events.
