Augusta Ada Byron, better known as Ada Lovelace, is an inquisitive child. She reads everything she can get her hands on in her father's library, the scandalous poet Lord Byron, but above all, she loves solving mathematical problems. Together with her teacher, mathematician Charles Babbage, she invents a programmable machine that is a crucial precursor to today's computers. Her achievements made her a pioneer for women in the sciences. Zoë Tucker has captured the adventurous life of Ada Lovelace in a few concise scenes.
