Act and think didactically

What makes good teachers and what is good teaching? The study book "Didaktisch handeln und denken" (Didactic acting and thinking) is intended to introduce prospective teachers to basic competences and aspects of didactic acting and thinking as well as to the essential questions of the profession. The combination of current theory and practice elements can become a challenging reading even for experienced teachers. This book is the result of the merger of the two volumes "Didaktisch handeln und denken 1" and "Didaktisch handeln und denken 2", which were published from 2011 to 2017 by the Publication Office of the Zurich University of Teacher Education. While the first part focuses on guided learning, the second part deals with independent learning. Each chapter contains a basic section and selected source texts.
