Jon Kabat-Zinn turns to the wisdom of our senses in his latest set of guided meditations. Practical and easy to apply, the focus here is on our breath, our thoughts, the sounds around us, and the sensory presence of our bodies.

Six guided meditations allow us to reflect and invite us to live each moment of our lives with greater awareness, clarity, and acceptance. Mindfulness in breathing, listening, thinking, and feeling enables us to arrive in the present moment, regenerate, and regain our inner balance. The mindfulness meditations presented here for the first time have been successfully used for many years at the Stress Reduction Clinic as part of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program. Tens of thousands of patients with heart conditions, chronic pain, cancer, or other serious, often incurable diseases are already benefiting from the healing power of mindfulness.
