Abu l-Hasan Ali (Spanish: Muley Hacén) (1485) was the Sultan of Granada from 1464 to 1482 and from 1483 to 1485. Abu l-Hasan Ali ascended to the throne in 1464, after the overthrow of his father Said (1454-1464), with the support of the Abencerrajes. After a break with the Abencerrajes and taking personal control of the government, he initially succeeded in eliminating this faction, whose survivors had to flee to Castile. However, he primarily used the increase in power for annual military campaigns into Castilian territories.
