Thanner's first case seems quite simple to him. He is to observe Elena Donath, the wife of a wealthy businessman, and provide evidence of her infidelity. But Elena Donath does not fail to notice that she is being watched. Suspicious, she turns the tables and observes Thanner, which is not without consequences for all involved. At a hut, the situation escalates into a drama of questions and doubts, accusations and suspicions, which ends fatally. Suddenly, Thanner is no longer an observer, he is involved in a horrific relationship. All the evidence points to him and the police are not the only ones after him. Left to his own devices, he flees into the mountains. On his own, he must try to solve the case and save his life.
