50plus und ausgesteuert

Switzerland tends to create a labor market exclusively for highly qualified people. The associated pressure to standardize represents a partly insurmountable hurdle, especially for the age target group 50plus, to regain a foothold in the primary labor market after unemployment. As a result, a downward spiral develops for those affected, which can be characterized by factors such as social decline, health impairments, and loss of autonomy and self-efficacy. This is a great challenge for the affected persons themselves as well as for the involved support systems. In the following, this book attempts, in the form of a project outline, to present possible health-promoting and profession-theoretically guided approaches to action for social work professionals.
