3D-Objekterkennung auf der Grundlage von künstlichem Lernen

With the rapid advancement of instruments for capturing 3D objects and computing power, there is a growing number of 3D objects in various fields, such as medical simulation, computer vision, computer-aided design, computer graphics, and architectural design. Unlike classification and search based on 2D data, classification and search based on 3D information is gradually becoming a feasible and meaningful task. This book explores the problems and concepts often associated with content-based classification and retrieval of 3D objects. It also includes our contributions to the relevant field. In fact, we have addressed classification and retrieval approaches based on partial matching, the representation of shape using 2D cross-sections extracted from the 3D object, and artificial learning.
