10 ans LInf Fribourg / 10 Jahre InfoG Freiburg

Since January 1, 2011, the Law on Information and Access to Documents (InfoG) has specified the principle of public access in the Canton of Fribourg. This volume commemorates the law on the occasion of its tenth anniversary. The bilingual volume is divided into three parts: The first part provides a retrospective on the history of the law's development, the implementation of the principle of public access in practice, and the relevant case law. The second part delves into thematic aspects, particularly the fundamental rights dimension of the InfoG, the organization of the public access authority, the relationship between transparency and data protection, as well as procedural aspects. Finally, the volume is complemented by guest contributions from the federal government and another canton.
