The proclamation of God's commandment and gospel reveals the power and glory of this God in the world and in the lives of people. The glory that Christians confess is witnessed in the book of God's stories with His people Israel and ultimately became flesh in Jesus Christ, shining brightly in the New Testament, is still hidden. However, the longing of faith today also reaches out for the perception, the sight of this divine glory in the emergence of grace and love, justice and peace. Faith has eyes for this, sees, and guides towards seeing and living in the presence of God.
