Cellulite (orange peel skin) occurs due to weak connective tissue combined with reduced circulation in the blood and lymph vessels caused by the enlargement of fat cells in the subcutaneous layer. For localized treatment, a combination of plant-based active ingredients is suitable. The Asian pennywort (Centella asiatica) is known to stimulate the skin's own collagen production in the connective tissue and promote the formation of fine blood capillaries. Butcher's broom (Ruscus aculeatus) is said to seal permeable blood vessels, thereby preventing fluid from leaking into the tissue. Ivy (Hedera helix) has traditionally been used for drainage and detoxification. Ginkgo and the essential oils from grapefruit, rosemary, and juniper can enhance blood circulation in the skin, thereby stimulating its metabolism.

Application
Apply locally. Regular massages can improve the appearance of the skin in cases of cellulite.
