What is a Denier?

A Denier is the unit of measurement for the thickness of the thread used to make stockings and tights.

The lower the Denier number (8, 10, 15, 20, etc.), the thinner and more transparent the stocking or panty. Conversely, the higher the number (40, 70, etc.), the thicker the fabric and the less visible the skin.

On the other hand, there are opaque microfiber tights and stockings in 50 and 100 Den, where the skin is hardly visible. Their use is common in autumn and winter.
