I have seen on the Emmi Pet website that the toothpaste contains some ingredients that are harmful to dogs if ingested orally. Does anyone know if the ultrasonic toothbrush can be used without the toothpaste supplied with the same effect?

Accepted Answer

Yes, in principle the effect is given by the ultrasound of the toothbrush. Toothpaste perhaps increases the effectiveness a little, but using another product (such as enzyme paste) certainly works well.
