Most reptiles utilise both the direct heat radiated by the sun and the transferred heat from surfaces that have been warmed by the sun, such as branches, rocks or other heat-retaining structures. Creating such a species-appropriate temperature gradient in a terrarium is an important factor for successful reptile husbandry. With the Exo Terra electronic thermostat (ON/OFF, 100W/300W) you can create a well-controlled heat system. It allows you to maintain the required temperature conditions similar to those in a desert or tropical environment. The thermostat also helps to prevent overheating on hot summer days or overcooling on cold winter nights. The electronic triac switch keeps the temperature at the set value and prevents temperature fluctuations in the terrarium. Connect your substrate heater, heat cable or ceramic heater to the Exo Terra Thermostat, set the desired temperature and place the heat sensor in the desired location. The red LED heat indicator lights up when the heater is heating and switches off when the desired temperature has been reached. The thermostat's recessed switch prevents accidental temperature changes when the appliance is touched. The Exo Terra Monsoon Solo is a programmable misting system suitable for all terrariums and greenhouses. This system helps maintain optimal humidity by producing rainfall at programmed times. The duration and frequency of rainfall can be easily adjusted to suit the needs of the animals kept or the plants. Frequent rainfall helps to stimulate breeding behaviour.
