The robin nesting box is a hollowed-out trunk with intact bark and a large open front hole, ideal for robins, wagtails and spotted flycatchers. The appearance of the natural product can vary, but is perfect for use in the garden or forest. The natural air-dried FSC-certified wood block has low thermal conductivity and provides excellent insulation for nesting birds. The wood is a beautiful pale colour and the bark is mottled brown. It is remarkably light and strong and resistant to cracking and splitting. The hinged lid can be easily lifted by loosening the locking screw to allow cleaning and inspection. The nesting box is hung in the hole in the wooden back panel at the rear of the nesting box. As the product is made from natural wood, the appearance may vary due to the seasonal availability of wood or environmental influences.
