Product details

Developed in collaboration with naturalist and cameraman Simon King OBE, who uses his many years of knowledge observing and photographing wild birds and wildlife to design effective products. Robins prefer an open nesting area with good access, but build their nest out of sight. Our nesting aid offers both. The entrance is open, but the nesting area is concealed behind the side wall and covered by the roof. The nest is lightweight and can be placed in a hedge or ivy or attached to a wall using the copper wires supplied. The bird's nest provides a rattan landing platform with a low partition wall separating the nesting or roosting area from the entrance area. The Reisg robin bird nest won the award for best product design in the pets and wildlife category at GLEE 2016. The nest is also suitable for other bird species such as grey wagtails, which prefer the same style of open nesting area.
