The tracking line is a special dog leash that is usually between five and 15 meters long. It is used as a tool in dog training, especially for young animals. It allows the dog to explore and roam freely without leaving them completely to their own devices.

Young dogs often do not immediately respond to their owner's commands. When they are in their adolescent phase, they test their boundaries, similar to children and teenagers. This phase begins around the 9th month; before that, most dogs have a natural following instinct. By using a tracking line for training during this phase, you give your dog a sense of freedom.
