Relaxdays 4x bat box

Help provide a home for local bats with the bat boxes. Especially from May to August, these animals need shelter for raising their young. Additionally, the box offers a refuge for larger species during hibernation from November to March. The untreated wooden house allows these flying artists to easily climb inside thanks to its rough surface and grooves. Furthermore, the board outside the box serves as a landing aid. In spring and autumn, the box can accommodate migratory bats, as they are on the move during this time.

Tips for hanging the bat box:

• Secure to facades or trees
• Install the box as high as possible
• The recommended height is at least 4 m
• Hang the shelter in a wind-protected location
• Mount in a warm and sunny spot
• Preferably where the sun shines in the morning and noon
• Remove branches and obstacles within about 2 m
• Hang multiple boxes with about 5 m distance apart
