Chicks have a high heat requirement after hatching and warm themselves under the feathers of the mother hen. The warmth accumulates under the feathers, and the chicks enjoy the cozy temperature. The CosyHeat heating plate works on the same principle. The chicks can hatch under the plate and rest in the snug warmth beneath it. They can snuggle directly against the plate. Additionally, the plate radiates heat downwards, creating a warm cushion. With the help of a rotary controller on the plate, the temperature can be easily and continuously adjusted to meet the chicks' heat needs. An integrated thermostat ensures a constant temperature under the plate. It heats up until the required temperature is reached and maintains it. Since the heating plate does not heat continuously, it is more energy-efficient than conventional heat emitters. The height-adjustable legs make it easy to adapt the heating plate to the size of the chicks.
