Kentucky Dogwear Dog Harness Body Safe

Be well equipped during your next walks. The Body Safe harness in wool is an essential accessory if you have a dog. Its chic woolen look will attract all eyes during your walks. The soft material used prevents uncomfortable rubbing.

This harness is a great alternative if your dog pulls too much with a regular collar. When buckled correctly, it shifts the pressure that normally acts on the neck towards the chest, providing more comfort. The harness is very easy to put on and can be pulled over the head. It features a Velcro closure at chest level and a second one with a loop to close at the belly. The handle on the back allows you to quickly grab your dog if needed.

The harness is available in seven different sizes. We recommend taking your dog's measurements to choose the appropriate size. To do this, measure your dog's chest circumference: Place either 2 fingers (for sizes XXS-XS-S) or 4 fingers (for sizes ML-XL-XXL) behind the front legs and measure the chest from this distance. It should also be possible to place your hand under the harness on the back of your dog. When fitting, ensure that these distances are maintained to allow your dog maximum freedom of movement.

Some additional tips:

• The harness is the right size when the shoulders are free.
• The harness is badly fitted if it "squeezes the neck."
• The harness is too big if your dog can pull his front paws out of the harness.
• If the dog pulls and tries to remove the harness, avoid pulling.
