For the rearing, growth, and production of laying hens, proper nutrition from the very beginning is crucial. The needs of the animals depend heavily on their developmental stage and whether the hens are laying eggs or not. Therefore, Kasper Faunafood offers a range of feeds that, when used correctly, promote good rearing and subsequent egg production. Feed intake is influenced by the breed and age, but most importantly by the size (weight) of the hens. The following table can be used as a rough guideline for the different laying percentages.

Supplementary feed for poultry. To be administered in addition to a complete feed, a maximum of 25% of the daily ration, preferably scattered to encourage free-range behavior. Recommended for hens of all breeds.

Composition: Wheat, corn grits, sorghum, sunflower seeds, crushed peas, soybean oil.
