Moose leather is one of the finest leathers in the world. Proper care and handling are very important for moose leather. It should not be exposed to extreme moisture or heavy soiling, as this can damage the leather and cause the extremely fine leather to appear worn quickly. For leather care, it is always highly recommended – less is more! Moose leather is already oiled and requires minimal re-oiling; leather care oil is best suited for this purpose. If the moose leather product becomes wet or damp, rapid drying of the leather, such as on a heater, is not advisable; instead, blotting and slow drying are recommended. Additionally, it is advisable to ensure that no moisture remains on the metal fittings. Only with proper handling and care can the usual HUNTER quality be maintained.
