Squirrels are among the best known and most popular animals you can meet in this country. Their bright red fur and nimble movements are characteristic of these shy animals. Like many other species, however, squirrels are suffering from the increasing changes in the environment caused by humans. In addition to a dwindling food supply, the lack of nesting opportunities in urban environments is a particular problem.
