Design your own birdhouse and provide a safe place for native wild birds such as sparrows, tits, and nuthatches to raise their young. Crafting and painting the nesting cavity is a great fun activity for children, with the valuable educational side effect of engaging them actively with their environment. A removable panel allows for easy cleaning of the interior after the breeding season. Made from FSC-certified pine wood (Pinus radiata, the main wood species), the birdhouse can be hung anywhere on trees and house walls thanks to the drilled hole in the back.
