Product details

Species-appropriate rodent food consists of fresh and dry food as well as hay and straw. The intestines of small animals are very sensitive and need lots of soluble fiber. Besides eating vegetables, these cute creatures love dry rodent food, such as hay and pellets. Please don't forget to make sure your pet is hydrated while doing this. Rodents need regular tooth abrasion, which is ensured by dry rodent food as well as nibble sticks. Guinea pigs have a thin-walled stomach and a long intestine with little peristalsis. So guinea pigs' digestion only works if they eat constantly, taking in plenty of raw fiber and spreading the meal throughout the day. Their teeth grow throughout their lives and are dependent on constant tooth wear. Guinea pigs also need vitamin C added to their food, as they cannot produce it themselves. Copacabana's guinea pig feeds are precisely adapted to these special features. They contain a high proportion of crude fibre, among other things in the form of alfalfa pellets, which also promote tooth abrasion due to their consistency. Seeds, flowers and vegetables supplement the raw fibres and ensure a varied and balanced diet. The feed mixture also contains vitamin C, so your little darling is supplied with his daily needs. Composition: Alfalfa pellets, wheat, oats, alfalfa hay, carob, Ringos Nature (extruded from corn, corn germ), alfalfa, sunflower oil, beetroot), croquettes in bean form (corn, peas, alfalfa), puffed corn, alfalfa pellets with vitamin C, pumpkin seeds, peanuts shelled, oat kernels with vitamins.
