Canina Winter Paw Balm

Canina® Winter Paw Balm for dogs is a water-free balm made with shea butter, beeswax, and apricot oil. It prevents the drying out of paw pads and the formation of cracks due to moisture, cold, snow, and ice, while also protecting stressed dog paws from aggressive de-icing salts.

Due to the absence of water in the product, the paws cannot freeze, as no watery film forms around the paw pads. Instead, the beeswax creates a protective layer on the pads and between the toes, preventing moisture, salt, and dirt from penetrating. Apricot kernel oil and shea butter nourish and soften the pads, maintaining their elasticity and preventing cracks and minor injuries.

Canina® Winter Paw Balm prevents ice formation between the toes, allowing dogs to easily cover long distances in snow and ice. This is especially important for sled dogs, hunting dogs, and rescue dogs in the field.

Tea tree oil and neem oil in Canina® Winter Paw Balm prevent licking and nibbling of the paws while caring for the skin of the pads; it also helps to prevent mechanical irritations.
