Product details
Every dog owner tries to make their dog's life as comfortable as possible. Unfortunately, illnesses or surgeries that require follow-up treatment are not always preventable. After surgery, an inflammation in the anal area, an eczema, or other issues in the rear body area, dogs often feel the urge to lick or bite the affected area. This behavior disrupts the healing process, as bacteria are repeatedly introduced into the wound. The Kleck-Leckschutz offers a tolerable and comfortable alternative to conventional cone collars.
The Kleck-Leckschutz for dogs prevents them from reaching the rear body area with their snout. Typically, the animal adjusts to the harness within a very short time.
With our product, which already has a utility model protection and is currently undergoing patent examination, dogs can eat, sleep, and play as usual.
The dog's visual and auditory perception is not impaired. Their coordination remains fully intact. Freedom of movement is only restricted to what is absolutely necessary. For chronic or recurring health issues, wearing the Kleck is also possible for extended periods due to the minimal restriction on the animal.
The product was developed in cooperation with German veterinarians and is handmade from high-quality materials in the rural areas of North Rhine-Westphalia.

Instructions for use | The leak guard is supplied pre-assembled and consists of a neck strap, a longer torso strap, 2 sheathed aluminium strips and a hexagonal spanner for individual adjustment of the harness. The harness is placed around the dog's neck, the aluminium strips are guided along the dog's sides and secured at the end of the ribs with the torso strap. If the dog now tries to reach the area at the back of its torso, it pushes the bars in front of its hips with the turning movement and thus pushes them to the side. It is therefore not possible to reach the affected area. |
