Unfortunately I didn't find anything from the manufacturer, but the instructions for the table should tell you how to reset it. In general, I would advise against height-adjustable tables that have only one lifting motor. They are more susceptible to malfunctions, have to work harder (there is only one instead of two), are slower and can lift less weight. I would guess that it is a warranty case. However, if you get your money back, I would take it and buy a table that has two motors, e.g. this one, which is very reliable and super easy to set up:
