Can I fit a 130 cm high pleated blind to a window that is 230 cm high? I don't want to cover the whole window. Is the cable or cord that long?
I have exactly the same question, and it's not entirely clear to me from the previous answers whether this is possible or not. I wouldn't mind if it didn't cover the whole window but just the 130cm, but I'm not sure if that's even possible. Is there no Gardinia Easyfix in the format of balcony doors/windows? I don't feel like drilling around and think the Easyfix system is very nice.
The cords of the Gardinia Easyfix pleated blind (50 x 130 cm) are stretched from the lower to the upper edge of the window. See the instructions in the shop. The cord is therefore certainly too short. You can buy the cord separately, but threading it is a fiddly job.
The pleated blind is 130 cm long when extended. It is pulled out at the bottom edge - not with a cord. If you can reach 2.30m, this is no problem. Otherwise, perhaps always leave it slightly pulled down. Does this help?
With this article the cord is approx. 135cm long, so mounting without cord extension is only possible with the adhesive brackets Art. no. 13418457
We had the same problem and solved it this way. You can see a picture at Art. No. 10829511 in the comments.
