Vipp shelves are made from 3 mm thick aluminum, punched and shaped into a U-form to create two shelf surfaces. The shelf is mounted with an invisible bracket, giving the impression of floating, positioned 8 mm away from the wall and secured with CNC-milled thumb screws in brushed stainless steel, a special detail in terms of both design and functionality of the shelf.
To protect glass and porcelain, both shelf surfaces are equipped with a notch and a washable silicone mat. Traditional Vipp materials in white or black powder-coated aluminum are used in the production of the shelf to achieve visual harmony with Vipp kitchen and bathroom modules, explains Vipp chief designer Morten Bo Jensen.
Vipp shelves are available in black and white in widths of 50 cm and 1 m.
