Violan Round

Violan coasters in a round shape. For the first time, Metz Textil & Design breaks with its own tradition – but the company from Aschau am Inn does so for a good innovative reason and with a clear green conscience: Instead of using the usual household real wool felt, Metz Textil & Design relies on Violan for this table decoration, a purely plant-based felt developed through years of experimentation. The material feels just as high-quality as soft merino wool felt, but is made from plant residues and wood fibers. Soft to the touch, highly absorbent, allergen-free, biodegradable, and completely non-toxic, making it safe for small children to put in their mouths! Moreover, every round or square coaster for glasses, mugs, and bowls can be washed with a mild detergent at 30 °C without spinning, just like any optionally available table set – even true wool felt fans won't be able to resist!.
