Violan Round

Violan coasters in a set of four in round shape. For the first time, Metz Textil & Design breaks with its own tradition – but the company from Aschau am Inn does so for a good innovative reason and with a clear conscience: Instead of using the usual household real wool felt, Metz Textil & Design relies on Violan for this table decoration, a purely plant-based felt developed through years of research. The material feels just as high-quality as soft Merino wool felt but is made from plant residues and wood fibers. It is pleasantly soft to the touch, highly absorbent, allergen-free, biodegradable, and completely non-toxic, allowing even small children to safely put it in their mouths! Furthermore, each round or square coaster for glasses, mugs, and bowls can be washed like any optionally available table set with a mild detergent at 30 °C without spinning – even true wool felt fans won't be able to resist!.
