Trenddeko Hokusai - The Great Wave of Kanagawa

Starting in 1798, the Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai began to sign his name, which has since gained worldwide recognition.

This was largely achieved through a series consisting of 36 color woodblock prints created between 1830 and 1836, exclusively featuring landscape motifs around Japan's highest mountain. Among these, "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" gained international fame and helped make Katsushika Hokusai known beyond the borders of Japan.
