The Mysterious Advent Calendar

What is it about this mysterious black Advent calendar that Nico receives as a gift from a strange Father Christmas? And what is hidden behind the 24 doors? When cool Nico, who doesn't think much of all that sentimental Christmas stuff, curiously opens the first door, he is drawn into the maelstrom of events that shake Adventa and its inhabitants. In the once peaceful land, the Black Journeymen have seized power and banned everything that brings joy - especially Christmas and everything connected with it. Together with his new friend Sali, Nico has to go through many fantastic adventures until he finally succeeds in uncovering the secret of the Black Journeymen and redeeming Adventa. In the process, the experiences in Adventa gradually open Nico's eyes to what is special about the Advent season and, at the end of the story, give him a great piece of Christmas joy in his very own way. Astrid Nagel, born in 1952 in Marburg/Lahn, did not realise her dream of writing adventure books for young people until she was 45. After studying computer science in Munich and working for years in a Stuttgart computer institute, it is significant that a computer game played the leading role in the first volume of her M-A-C series.
