Tecnolumen Mb24 ashtray
Product details
MB24 Ashtray by Tecnolumen
The MB24 ashtray impresses with its elegant Bauhaus design based on original drafts. Marianne Brandt developed this unique design in 1924 in the metal workshop of the Bauhaus. The spherical half-spheres rest like a bowl on the elevated triple cross, which serves as the base. The nickel-plated cap takes the form of a triangle, reflecting the three-way symmetry of the foot. Due to a lack of manufacturer contact, MB24 ashtrays are only produced in small series at the Bauhaus. An absolutely stylish accessory for your home!
Marianne Brandt Design - MB24 Ashtray
At the beginning of the Bauhaus movement, Marianne Brandt designed this ashtray, which features a removable lid. Half-spheres made of brass stand on three triangular feet and are covered by nickel-plated caps. Tecnolumen now not only creates attractive designs based on Marianne Brandt's original plan but also from original works exhibited in the Bauhaus Museum in Berlin during the 1920s. People who are quitting smoking can also use elegant bowls and lids to hold candies, earplugs, or rings.
