For the design of our floor mat, we chose a cult album by AC/DC: "For Those About to Rock (We Salute You)," the seventh album by AC/DC, created and recorded in Paris in November 1981. It is an essential album in the hard rock band's discography, instantly recognizable thanks to the iconic cover featuring a cannon that concludes every AC/DC concert. The inspiration for the cannon came from the wedding of Prince Charles and Diana Spencer at St. Paul's Cathedral in London on July 29, 1981. During the recording of "For Those About to Rock" that day, Angus Young was captivated by a television clip of the ceremony, accompanied by the sound of the cannons. Angus said, "I wanted something powerful, masculine, and rock 'n' roll. And what could be more masculine than a cannon? It loads, it fires, and it destroys."
