This charge can be neutralized using a wire hanger; simply run it over the bean bag to discharge the static. To prevent accidental opening of the cover, you can easily cut off the zipper pull tab with a cutting tool. However, the zipper can also be easily opened and closed with a bent paperclip if needed.
