One side of the runners, the one with the 4 plastic triangles, is made to fit into the holes of the curtain. The holes in the Spirella curtains are just the right size. It clicks into place and works well.

The spring in the shower curtain rail cannot be explicitly described as removable. As this is an infinitely extendable tension rod, the spring inside is responsible for the tension and is not normally designed to be removed. For the replacement of a part of an angle bar, this bar is not designed as a spare part with a removable spring. There is no indication that the spring can be removed separately without affecting the function of the rod.

Yes, you can definitely do that, you just have to buy 2 sets, because it only comes with one bracket and 2 rods, plus 2 end pieces.

The aluminium rods can be shortened to any size with a metal saw. Then deburr the saw edges with a file or sandpaper.

The dimensions are: 125 cm - 210 cm / Diameter: 40 mm x 17 mm
To adjust the length normally, you just have to slide the rod.

Unfortunately the brand does not indicate how to retract it. But after some research, if you pull the extendable part out completely (after removing the plugs on each side) you should be able to put it back in the original tube to re-adjust the width you need. This seems to work with the bars that lock with a spring.

There are 2 variants :-)
Either cut it off --> but this is not the nice way, or simply pull the rod out completely and reinsert it from the opposite side. This "outsmarts" the safety device which ensures that the rod remains "taut".

Ceiling support: Was NOT included with us even with bath length. To be ordered separately. Apparently not available at Galaxus, but you can find them on the net (Fehr Badshop). Since the ceiling support is not included and the ends are fixed with 2 screws per side, a shower solution without ceiling support should work well if the screws hold really well in the wall => no plaster or anything (exception: children hanging on the curtain).
Rust: The holder's socket is plastic, so no scratching. Moreover, at least the chrome version is made of chrome-plated aluminium, and aluminium is known not to rust (visibly).
If you use the push-button system, you do not need any additional rings. The shower curtain can be hung directly. It's very easy :) We have a shower curtain from Spirella, so maybe it only works with that. Or did I misunderstand your question?
