Product details
The rose is a deciduous shrub and is known as the "queen of flowers"; it has lent its name to the entire plant genus. The Damask rose originates from the Persian region and is said to have been introduced from there by the Crusaders. The typical form of Rosa damascena is slightly climbing rose-like with gently nodding pink flowers. The variety that is currently cultivated as the oil rose in Turkey, Morocco, Bulgaria, India, Persia, or Russia is called Rosa damascena trigintipetala.
