The organic Cajeput essential oil (bot. Melaleuca leucadendron var. Cajaputi) has a fresh, spicy, and eucalyptus-like scent and is a top note. The fragrance theme is liberating, clarifying, and purifying. It is obtained through steam distillation from the leaf part of the plant. In aromatherapy, it is used in appropriately low dosages for children and babies from 6 months old, as it serves as a mild oil during the cold season. Its soothing properties are often utilized for warming ear wraps, liberating chest rubs, and massage oils.
