PiL LASER+

LED spotlight for outdoor and indoor use, consisting of a supporting structure made of die-cast aluminum coated with polyester powder, following a prior chemical surface treatment. The diffuser features integrated optics made of transparent technopolymer, which is protected against UV rays and heat. The optics consist of technopolymer lenses with increased light transmission and have an asymmetric shape. An aging-resistant silicone gasket made in one piece (without seams) ensures high compensation performance, high resilience, and high heat resistance.

High-quality thermal management is ensured by heat sinks made of die-cast aluminum. The electrical connection box is also made of die-cast aluminum, prepared through chemical surface treatment, and coated with polyester powder. The power connection is made via an external IP66 connector, allowing for electrical connection to the supply units without opening the luminaire. This connection is made of polyamide PA66 and is 7-pole for conductors with a diameter of 13 to 18 mm.

The light source consists of multiple LED modules. Information on other color temperatures and the color rendering index can be obtained from the manufacturer. External screws are made of stainless steel. The steel bracket is coated with polyester powder after hot-dip galvanization. The power rating specified for LASER+ includes the losses of the connection unit. A goniometer for adjusting the alignment is included. Only the connection units available as accessories should be used for powering LASER+. Dimmable power supplies DALI and DMX512-RDM IP66 are available.

The electrical connection between these and the respective spotlights must be made using a cable with a maximum length of 100 meters. The supply units consist of a converter with protection against mains surges up to 10 kV.
