Mini Advent Calendar "Meissen Frauenkirche"

Meissen also has a Frauenkirche. It is part of the market ensemble and features a carillon made of Meissen porcelain, which is clearly visible from the market. The Meissen porcelain carillon chimes every quarter hour and plays religious chorales every three hours. Next to the Meissen Frauenkirche is the historic restaurant Vincenz Richter, an excellent establishment where good food and Meissen wine can be enjoyed.

This motif was one of the first that Brück & Sohn developed for an Advent calendar. The 24 little windows hide small, lovingly crafted Christmas illustrations that may transport some viewers back to their childhood.
