For coughs and bronchitis, a lavender oil compress can be beneficial. Mix 2 to 3 drops of lavender oil with a tablespoon of carrier oil and spread it on a cloth. Warm the cloth briefly and place it on your chest. Secure it with a scarf and let it work for 2 hours.
