The unusual surface treatment gives the wood a vintage look, featuring high-quality industrial design. The old wood appearance resembles wood that has been stored for 100 years, with a slightly rustic textured surface. The wood is limed, sanded black, and lacquered with clear varnish, sourced from nearby sawmills in Bavaria.

Thermo spruce is processed through a special method where the wood is steamed with high heat and dried simultaneously, completely without chemical additives, making it 100% organic. This process makes the wood much harder. The wood is sourced from sustainable cultivation.
