Menu Afteroom Lounge Chair Armchair
Product details
Afteroom furniture series. A tribute to the timeless Bauhaus design of the 1920s and 1930s: Hung-Ming Chen and Chen-Yen Wei, a Taiwanese designer duo now based in Stockholm, are inspired by the modernist movement to create minimalist, streamlined furniture for the Danish brand Menu. The series includes chairs with three or four legs, available in various seat heights from bar stools to lounge chairs, tables ranging from side tables to dining tables, and a wall coat rack that has a playful quality. Afteroom Lounge Chair. Hung-Ming Chen and Chen-Yen Wei draw on two design classics for Menu: while Michael Thonet's bentwood chair sets the tone for the lightness and curve of the backrest, Børge Mogensen's Spanish Chair leads to a comfortable leather upholstery.
