A tribute to the timeless Bauhaus design of the 1920s to 1930s: Hung-Ming Chen and Chen-Yen Wei, a Taiwanese design team of the same name now based in Stockholm, let themselves be seduced by the move towards modernity to create minimalist, straightforward furniture for the Danish brand Menu. The series comprises chairs with three or four legs, in different seat heights from bar stool to lounge armchair, tables from side table to dining table as well as an almost playful wall mounted wardrobe. Hung-Ming Chen and Chen-Yen Wei use two design classics as templates for Menu: While the bentwood chair by Michael Thonet dictates the lightness and curvature of the backrests, the "Spanish Chair" by Børge Mogensen leads to the comfortable, leather upholstery.
