In its larger size, it starts out as a sofa. In the smallest size as a baby chair. All three sizes of the Hippo transform into a bed. Actually a very nice bed. Just release the backrest, lift up the arms and the Hippo lies flat and becomes a thick, rich cushion perfect for house guests, sleepovers and when parents come to visit.
