Mobil Container by Kartell

Mobil is the rolling container from Kartell, distinguished by its lightness, flexibility, functionality, and durability. The compact design is by Antonio Citterio and Glen Oliver Löw. The drawer serves as the fundamental element of the container. The body of Mobil is made from PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate). This strong and weather-resistant plastic is the material with the highest aesthetic and functional quality. The drawer is housed in a frame made of chrome-plated steel tubing.

Kartell offers various versions of Mobil, allowing the container to be integrated into different environments. Mobil can be used as a simple drawer unit with 2 to 6 drawers and a comfortable handle. Different modules can be mounted on wheels or fixed feet, making them suitable for various areas: from the bedroom to the living room and bathroom, as well as high-fidelity shelves for studies and offices, and as a desk and drawer unit for storing documents, materials, and papers. The Mobil container by Kartell was awarded the prestigious Compasso d'Oro design prize in 1994 for its aesthetic and functional qualities.
