Iittala Alvar Aalto - Vase 16 cm, opal white

The Aalto vase was designed in 1936 and was first presented at the Paris World Fair the following year. Its flowing, organic shape is still mouth-blown at the Iittala factory today. A team of seven highly skilled craftsmen is required to produce a single Aalto vase – an icon of modern design.
