Note: Glade scented candles are designed for indoor use. However, they can also be used in the sheltered outdoor areas of your home. Always ensure that the wick is no longer than about 0.5 cm. If necessary, trim it a little. When lighting for the first time, let it burn for about 3 hours until the entire top layer of wax has melted. This allows the scented candle to burn more evenly. Also, make sure the candle is not in a draft, as this can promote smoke or soot formation. Never leave candles unattended. The candle jar is reusable; you can refill the empty jar with decorative filler or sand and place a tealight on top, for example. Dispose of the emptied jar in an environmentally friendly manner at public glass collection points.
