Lavender sage (Salvia Lavandulifolia) or also called small-leaved sage belongs to the labiates family and is obtained by steam distillation of the flowering herb. Its fragrance is fresh, herbaceous and slightly camphor-like. Lavender sage differs from the real garden sage (Salvia officinalis) mainly by a much deeper content of ketones, which is why offer it as a wonderful, gentler alternative to the real sage. The essential oil of lavender sage has strengthening, stimulating and concentration-enhancing properties and is good for stress and exhaustion.
